Our Beginnings: Sisters of Hagar as an organization started in July of 2013 by its founder Reiki Master and teacher Nurah Johnson. In addition to her energy work, for decades Nurah has been instrumental in bringing healers together for various workshops and events. She encourages and supports the skills and talents of those she comes in contact with. From time to time we come together in the support and care of our members using various mediums and tools such as Reiki, Meditation, Sound Healing and other modalities for expanded work on ourselves. How We Serve: In addition to our individual and or group work, Sisters of Hagar also functions as a body that has serves doing healing work at conferences and workshops for various groups and organizations. We are called upon to participate in events that are generally planned in advance. Often those events are within the scope of bringing healing to group specific needs. We are working toward getting resources that will gives us the means to go and bring our collective energies to the benefit and healing of those who respond to overwhelming events. Most often these first responders often have to continue on with their work without attention to their own healing.
